About the Programme
The technical margins that separate the front of the race from the back are rarely discussed and almost never coached. The ability to carry speed through a corner in a bunch, descend with precision under pressure, or make clean decisions on wet roads in the final kilometres — these are skills. Not instincts.
Seacliff Coaching's Skills for High Performance programme is built for professional and development riders who want to close that gap. Already used by World Tour professionals, these sessions address the technical demands of racing at the highest level.
Curriculum
Six disciplines. Each one a lever on race performance.
Tyres have a finite grip budget — braking and cornering compete for the same resource. Threshold braking, weight transfer, and completing all braking before turn-in so all available grip goes into holding your line.
Lean the bike, not just your body. Outside foot down, inside knee out, fluid hips as the pivot point. When your body is separated from the bike's lean, you can pick it back up the moment grip starts to go.
Racing line selection, late apex vs. geometric line, reading corner type — constant, decreasing, increasing radius, and blind. Exit speed compounds; entry speed does not.
Linked corners, linked thinking. Sacrifice the first apex to set up the second exit. Read 2–3 corners ahead, carry momentum between them, and turn a descent into a single flowing line rather than a series of problems.
Reading gravel, painted lines, drain covers and wet roads at speed. The theoretically perfect line isn't always the right one — knowing when to deviate is a skill in itself.
Reading the bunch, anticipating danger, holding your line under pressure and reacting to sudden changes in a peloton. The defensive instincts that protect you in race situations.
What You Get
Every session includes structured follow-up — so the work done on the road sticks.
On-bike and roadside footage reviewed and broken down. See exactly what's happening at the points that matter — corner entry, body position, braking zones.
A written analysis of everything covered — what was worked on, what improved, and what to focus on next.
